At Kanu Poke, our mission is to serve vibrant, innovative, homemade food for vegans, non-vegans, and curious food lovers alike. We celebrate fresh flavours, colourful dishes, and the spirit of local, independent dining — making plant-forward eating exciting and accessible for all. As a fully gluten-free and nut-free restaurant, we’re committed to creating a menu that’s as inclusive, safe, and welcoming as possible.

our story...
Our story began back in 2020, when chef George and artist Katie - two neighbours who met and fell for each other during lockdown (and for the idea of building something special together) - started crafting poké bowls from their tiny home kitchen as a take-away. What began as a simple passion project soon turned into a love-fuelled creative adventure, that has blossomed into our cosy, colourful unique restaurant in Shropshire - decorated and painted by Katie herself.
